Free softwares are available everywhere

Its foolish in this era to pay for several software's when you can get them for free. Like for e.g, paying for anti-virus or some licensed software when you can easily get their cracked version from tech downloads sites. In web 2.0 , any software that comes licensed is cracked next day of its release. 99% people use pirated windows XP and Vista. You can get many types of software's with their ratings and reviews at Cnet. But still many people end up paying $20 - $100 for petty software's like AVG, symantec's Norton antivirus, etc. I never have actually paid for any software till date as i can get them for free online. Of course if you need 100% security and for business purpose, you should go with licensed and original ones. You can get more tech news on tech productivity.

Disk heal review

My old desktop had a nice software, Disk heal. It was a chiller software but quite a good one. It had several tweaking options to do in computer like disabling start menu, locking folders, hiding control panels and hiding 'Run' option, etc. Also it had option of repairing any drives having minor errors. The software occupied space of about 2 Mb but was worth having it on your computer. After my computer got infected with virus, i tried this software so that i could have access to tools and options which virus in my computer disabled. After that, i got my new compaq presario laptop. You can get several this type of software's from Cnet website.
